1. Fee to be levied while issuing tourist visa by the Mission and entry point:


1. For foreigners desiring to come to Nepal first time in visa year, dollars 30 or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for single entry visa for up to 60 days.

3. Additional U.S. Dollars 50 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto in the visa fee as referred to in Clause (a) for foreigners desiring to obtain facility of multiple entry to enter into Nepal for the first time in the visa year. An Additional fee shall not be required to pay against the multiple entry facility while reobtaining visa or extending the visa not exceeding 150 days in such visa year by the foreigner who has obtained facility of multiple entry first time in the visa year.
   Provided that the visa fee as referred to in Clause (a) and (d) shall be required to pay.
   


4. U.S. Dollars 30 or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for single entry visa for upto 30 days for foreigner to reenter into Nepal in the same visa year. The foreigner so re?entering into has not obtained facility of multiple entry prior to this and wish to obtain such facility, an additional U.S. Dollar 50 or other convertible foreign currency equivalent there to pursuant to Clause (c).


(d ₁) Not withstanding anything written in clause (d) if a tourist who has lived in Nepal upto fifteen days, re-enters Nepal during the same visa year, no visa fee shall be applicable to him for a period under caluse (d).

Not withstanding anything written in clause (a) and (d), no visa fee shall be applicable to the citizens of member country of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and the peoples' Republic of china and the foreign tourists entering into Nepal for three days or less than that.

3. Fees to be levied for renewal or regularization of tourist visa


1. Nepalese currency equivalent to 30 US dollars to renew the validity of single entry tourist visa for up to 30 days.

3. In case where request has also been made for the facility of multiple entry an additional amount in Nepalese currency equivalent to U. S. Dollars 50 to the fee as referred to in Clause (a). The period of facility of such multiple entry shall not exceed than 150 days in one visa year pursuant to Clause (c) of serial number 1.
4. In regularizing visa of any foreigner stayed without renewal of validity of the tourist visa, Nepalese currency equivalent 2 US dollars per day for up to 30 days, 3 US dollars per day from 31 days to 90 days, and 5 US dollars per day, for whatsoever period more than 90 days shall be levied in addition to the amount to be paid for renewal of the validity of visa as per these Regulations.


4. Fees chargeable while issuing, or extending the validity of, the study visa:
1. if the study visa has to be issued at the time of entry, twenty-five (25) USD $ or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto.
2. In issuing or extending the validity of the study visa, Nepales currency equivalent to forty (40) USD $ each month.
3. For Bangladeshi student Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 15 per year with multiple facility, on the basisc of reciprocity.
4. For Srilankan students Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 9 per month, or 7500.00 Srilankan Rupees per year on the basis of reciprocity.
5. For Pakistani students Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 15 per year for single entry facility, study visa and US $ 25 per year multiple entry facility study visa, on the basis of reciprocity.
6. for Maldivian students Nepalese currency equivalent to US $ 5 per month on the basis of reciprocity.


5. Fees chargeable while issuing, or extending the validity of, the non-tourist visa:
   1. If the non-tourist visa of 30 days has to be issued at the time of entry, twenty-five (25) American Dollars or convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto.
   2. Nepalese currency equivalent to five (5) American Dollars per month for the foreigner of Nepalese origin and the foreign passport holding child of Nepalese father or mother.
   3. Nepalese currency equivalent to ten (10) American Dollars per month for licensed journalists.
   4. Nepalese currency equivalent to twenty (20) American Dollars per month for the foreigners who serve in an office or project of His Majesty's Government being directly involved in such office or project.
   5. In issuing the non-tourist visa to a foreigner who gets married with a Nepalese citizen, Nepalese currency equivalent to ten (10) American Dollars per month.
   6. In the case of other foreigners, Nepalese currency equivalent to sixty (60) American Dollars per month for the first year and to one hundred (100) American Dollars per month from the second year.
   7. Nepalese currency equivalent to five (5) American Dollars per month for the citizens of Tibetan origin who come to meet their relatives.
   
   
6. Fee to be paid for issuing or renewal of Business visa. While issuing or renewal business visa, US dollar 100 or Nepalese currency equivalent thereto with multiple entry facility and if one desires to obtain multiple entry visa for five years US dollars 250 or Nepalese currency equivalent thereto."



7. Fees chargeable while issuing the Transit visa: Five American Dollars or convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto.


7_(a) Fee to be paid for Non-Resident Nepalese Visa:US $100 (on hundred) or convertible foreign currency for one year,
- but 50% (percent) of above fee shall be charged for the student.


8. Fee to be paid for issuing or renewal Residential visa with multiple entry facility: - For the first time, Nepalese currency equivalent to 200 US dollars annually and in getting renewal Nepalese currency equivalent to US dollars 100 annually, provided that for foreigner as referred to clause (e) of sub-rule (1) of Rule 11, for the first time, Nepalese currency equivalent to US dollars 700 and in getting renewal Nepalese currency equivalent to US dollars 1200 annually shall be levied.



9. While regularizing the visas of those foreigners who have stayed without getting the validity of business, study and non-tourist visas extended: In the case of those who have stayed without getting the validity of business, study and non-tourist visas extended, an additional fee at the rate of 50% of the fees chargeable pursuant to these Rules for the visas on which they have stayed for the period not exceeding 30 days and at the rate of 100% for the period thereafter shall be charged.



10. If single entry and multiple entry facility has to be obtained in other visa except the tourist and business visa: Nepalese currency equivalent to 25 and 60 American Dollars respectively.



11. Other fees: (c) If the tourist visa or other visa has to be issued to the foreigner who enters without obtaining the visa from the entry point, Nepalese currency equivalent to the fees chargeable pursuant to these Rules plus an additional 25 percent fees thereof. (d) Nepalese currency equivalent to 20 American Dollars in issuing the travel document. (e) Nepalese currency equivalent to one American Dollar in certifying arrival or departure or transferring visa.

Computation of visa fees: The fees shall be computed, in computing the period for purposes of the fees of the visas other than the tourist visa, so that visa fees shall be charged for up to 15 days if the visa be of a period less than 15 days and for one month if the visa be of a period more than 15 days but less than one month.

For Lower Dolpa Area: 10 American Dollars or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for each person each week for the first four weeks and American Dollars or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto 20 American Dollars or other convertible foreign currency equivalent thereto for each week thereafter.

4. (a) For Area of Olangchuggola, Lelep, Papung, Yamphudian Village Development Committees of Taple?jung District, Kimathanka, Chepuwa, Hatiya, Pawakhola Village Development Committees of the Sankhuwasabha District and all North-West area way from Thame to Nangpala of Namche Village Development Committees of Solukhumbu District : U.S. Dollars 10 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person each week for first four weeks and U.S. Dollars 20 or other convertible currency thereto for each person per week thereafter.

4. (b). For Thuman and Timure Area of Rasuwa District : U. S. Dollars 10 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person each week.

4. (c). For Nar, Fu of Manang District and North Area of Tilchhe Village of Thochhe Village Development Committee: U. S. Dollars 90 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person each week from September to November and U. S. Dollars 75 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person each week from December to August.

4. (d). For Mugu, Dolpu, Pulu and Bhangri Area of Mugu District : U. S. Dollars 90 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person for each first 7 days and U. S. Dollars 15 or convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person each day thereafter.

4. (e). For Area including the way to Tibet area via Limi, Muchu Village Development Committees and Tangekhola of Darma Village Development Committee of Humla District : U. S. Dollars 90 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person for first 7 days and U. S. Dollars 15 or other convertible currency equivalent thereto for each person each day thereafter.

6. Fee can be paid in Nepalese currency: Notwithstanding any thing contained in serial numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5, the Indian national can pay the fee in Nepalese currency equivalent to US dollars as mentioned in the same serial numbers.
